To help Veterans transition to successful and rewarding civilian lives, we participate in the International Franchise Association’s (IFA) VetFran program by offering a 10% discount to qualifying Veterans.

This is a value of up to $10,000 toward the initial Franchise Fee.

Franchise Opportunities for Veterans

AdvantaClean is ranked among the IFA’s Top 100 Best Franchise Opportunities for Veterans. According to the IFA, one in seven franchises is owned by a vet. In fact, nearly 15% of our franchises are Veteran-owned!

What is it about AdvantaClean and our military Veterans that makes us such a great franchise for Veterans to own?

Our franchise model accommodates the unique work style of Veterans by providing a detailed and scalable business plan, enabling Veterans to apply their military background, skills and experience to a profitable business opportunity. Our network of Veteran owners confirms it: The skills Veterans learn in the line of duty directly relate to the work ethic required in owning a franchise with AdvantaClean.

AdvantaClean is a strong franchise for veterans, to which our current Veteran owners will attest. Here’s what one of those former-military owners has to say about why he personally found AdvantaClean to be an ideal franchise for veterans.

Meet Barry Hintz

This former U.S. Military Veteran-turned-owner of AdvantaClean of Suburban Milwaukee was a Transportation Corps Officer in the U.S. Army from 1986 to 1992, serving our nation during the Gulf War.

Franchise Opportunities for Veterans

After retiring from military service, Barry began his entrepreneurial journey, choosing AdvantaClean because he recognized how the synergy between our services and business model offers exceptional franchise opportunities for Veterans.

Asked whether his military background has helped him run his AdvantaClean business, Barry says, “It has given me the discipline to get the job done, and the knowledge to properly organize, plan and prioritize my daily tasks in strategic ways. It has allowed me to use my leadership abilities to instruct and motivate my employees to perform our services efficiently for our customers.”

As further proof of his belief in AdvantaClean’s franchise opportunities for Veterans, Barry has a practice of hiring only Veterans as employees.

“Veterans are mission-oriented,” he says. “Veterans can make decisions when I am not around. Veterans can succeed under adverse conditions, and Veterans put the mission above themselves when required.”

Barry has leveraged the AdvantaClean model to provide business opportunities for Veterans in his community. His Veteran employees include:

  • Justen Jubb, U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant, 1998-2004. Justen is a Veteran of the Iraq War and has been Barry’s Project Manager for more than a year.
  • Mike Peterson, U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Lance Corporal, 2010-present. As of this posting, Mike has been with Barry’s franchise for six months.

If you are a Veteran of our armed forces, we thank you for your service, and we would be honored to hear from you!
