What is Negotiation War Gaming?

A Negotiation War Game (aka. Role Reversal or Simulated Interaction), is a Business War Game conducted at negotiation level (e.g. a role play simulation of an upcoming negotiation.

Even though software applications can play an important role in the execution of a Negotiation War Game, the method is inherently focused on role play simulation.

By gathering competitive intelligence on the forthcoming negotiation (as well as the individuals involved in the actual negotiation), participants in the Negotiation War Game gain an in-depth understanding of the negotiation itself and the negotiation parties.

The purpose of doing a Negotiation War Game is threefold; 1/ Predict most likely outcomes of the upcoming negotiation 2/ Stress-test existing negotiation strategy. 3/ Develop and test improved negotiation strategies.
