The business of the IAFD is brokering deals between franchise systems and those who provide goods and services, which are not provided by the franchisor, but needed by the frranchisees.

We concentrate on the delivery of goods and services, especially professional services, which may be offered through an independent franchisee association or a mature franchise advisory council.

We have experience in brokering those deals for goods and services which the franchisor is either unable to offer or because of legal or contractual restrictions cannot offer the franchise system -but which are necessary for the ongoing profitability of the system.

Examples of the type of services we are interested in: financing, professional accounting, legal, lease and site review, association management services, convention and communication services, health benefits and professional employees organization.

Any service that scales through a franchise system is a good candidate solution.

Examples of the type of goods we are interested in: sustainable products, energy efficient systems, construction build-outs, point of sale systems, mobile payment systems, and cleaning systems.

Goods that have an educational component are also good candidate solutions.

Finally, the IAFD assists its key partners by combining a number of proprietary online marketing techniques targeting specific audiences that attend specific franchise conventions, including the IAFD annual convention.
